The preferred way to pay for lawn treatments is by BACS (Internet banking money transfer). I can take cash or cheques in some special cases, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, I would prefer not.
Upon each chargeable visit, you will receive an invoice by email with the total amount due. This will also detail the services applied, notes about the treatment and what to do next.
The invoice also contains full contact details for The Lawn Man. It also details the Internet banking sort code and account number.
If you wish to pay for your service with cash, please let your lawn technician know when they arrive. Some customers choose to leave the payment in a hidden safe place, such as a shed or greenhouse. If you choose this, please leave the correct amount. It may also be a good idea to secure the payment in a waterproof envelope or bag.
Please note that if paying with cash, please try to have the correct amount. For security reasons lawn technicians don’t carry change on their van. Vans are sometimes left alone on the road and thefts do happen.
If you would like to pay by cheque, either hand it to the lawn technician with the invoice, or post payment to the contact address at a later date. Please remember to include your payment slip with the cheque.
Set up your Internet banking to pay for the lawn treatments
The most convenient way to pay for your treatments is to set up The Lawn Man as a payee on your Internet Banking service. You can then send the money across straight away without using a stamp or having to carry cash. Please use your customer number (shown on the invoice) as the reference.
The Lawn Man does not yet accept credit or debit cards for payment.
If you have any problems with paying your bill, please contact The Lawn Man.
