Chlorosis is a condition in which grass leaves produce insufficient chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is responsible for the green colour of the leaves. Chlorotic leaves are pale, yellow, or yellow-white.

It is caused by a lack of nutrients in the soil, mainly Iron.
